Emirates Airline launching daily flights to Orlando September 1

Emirates Airline recently announced it will be launching daily flights to Orlando from Dubai starting from September 1, 2015. The airline provided flight details and said that flight EK219 will make its departure from Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 03:50 hours local time and reach Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 11:40 hours local time. The return flight EK220 will take off from Orlando at 14:20 hours local time and reach Dubai at 12:30 hours local time the following day.

The airline will be deploying a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft to serve the two destinations. The aircraft will be configured with First Class, Business Class and Economy Class. The customers will be offered 8 suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat beds in Business Class and 216 seats in Economy Class.

According to the airline, the first leg of the flight will involve a travel time of 15 hours and 50 minutes. However, the return flight will be shorter by one hour and 40 minutes and will take a flying time of 14 hours and 10 minutes.

A spokesperson of Emirates Airline said that over the past years the airline has been expanding its network in the United States. With the launch of new flights on September 1, Orlando will now become the airline’s tenth destination in the U.S. The airline had earlier launched flights to Boston on March 10, 2015. Last year, the airline also started serving Chicago from August 5. The leading Middle East carrier has been serving U.S. destinations for over 10 years and has been gradually expanding its network because of the consistent high demand for services.
