Emirates Airline offer special deals for new Dubai-Panama flights

Emirates Airline has announced it will be launching new flights to Panama City from Dubai starting from February 1, 2016. To mark the launch of the new route the airline has decided to offer special promotional fares to its customers booking business class tickets. The airline will also be offering special fares in economy class as well. The promotional fares will be valid for travel between February 1 and March 23.

According to the airline, the special fare offer can be availed for travel to 12 other cities as well. These include Havana, Kingston, Mexico City and Cancun, with connections via Panama City.

The flights on Dubai-Panama City route will be of a tiring duration of 17 hours 35 minutes, and is being considered to be the longest in the world. The airline will deploy a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft for operating the flight on the route.

Media reports however said that the world’s longest flight title to Dubai-Panama City route may prove to be short-lived one. According to the reports, Singapore Airlines had earlier announced in October 2015 that it is acquiring a new ultra-long range Airbus A350-900ULR aircraft for launching direct flights to New York and also to the U.S. West Coast in future. With a distance of 8,700 miles the direct flights between Singapore and New York will be of duration of up to 19 hours, which will be around 2 hours more than the Dubai-Panama City route.

Currently, Qantas Airways is operating the world’s longest flight on Sydney-Dallas route involving flight duration of 16 hours 55 minutes. This route is being operated with the help of Airbus A380 aircraft.
