Emirates Airline opens lounge at Sri Lanka airport for First and Business Class passengers

Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates Airline recently announced the opening of its lounge at Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake in Sri Lanka.

The airline in a statement said that the lounge has been opened for the use of the airline’s First and Business Class passengers, as well as Gold Members of Skywards.

The lounge has designed, furnished and equipped by the airline keeping in view its specifications developed for Emirates’ 30 other lounges at major international airports across the world.

The lounge has been built in a 5,778 square foot area and is capable of accommodating around 118 passengers comfortably.

Currently, Emirates Airline operates 14 direct flights every week from Colombo to Dubai. The airline also operates 7 flights via Male to Dubai as well as daily flights to Singapore from Colombo. The airline offers three classes of service to its customers – First Class, Business Class and Economy Class. The global network of Emirates presently comprises 121 destinations.
