Emirates increases connectivity of Dubai with other world cities

Dubai is the name that none of the international airlines can afford to miss. Though a desert city, its influence on the international markets including aviation sector has simply multiplied. One can’t imagine the affluence this multinational oasis today has on the global front. From the exhilarating desert safari to Burj Khalifa Dubai is engraved on the list of major airlines as one of the most sought after business and leisure destination in the Middle East.

The home to business class flights, Dubai has established its worth on the international map. Its own airline Emirates that flies to almost all important cities around the world. The airline recently announced to upgrade its business class service to Lyon. The airline identical with extravagance said it will upgrade service to the city with Boeing 777-200 LR beginning February 1, 2014. The new aircraft with a total seating capacity of 266 will comprise of 8 private suites in the First Class, 42 lie flat beds in Business Class and 216 Economy Class seat that offer more legroom. It currently operates five weekly flights to Lyon and will continue with the same schedule even in the future.

Emirates has matured as an powerful carrier in Asia and as a reiteration of its commitment to serve the Asian destinations it will increase its weekly frequency between Dubai and Bangkok by launching a daily flight and introducing second Airbus A380 superjumbo jet starting October 27, 2013. The airline has some good news for its frequent fliers between Dubai and Amsterdam as well. It will start second daily continuous flight between the two cities from December this year that will offer solace to the passengers who are more likely to travel on the route every now and then. Emirates is slowly expanding its presence throughout the world by penetrating into different markets at the earliest given opportunity.
