Emirates introduces more business class seats for Africa bound

With the introduction of two new African destinations: Lusaka and Harare, Emirates would boost its network of African flights. By virtue, passengers looking for business class seats would also get more choices to pick from.

The two new destinations- Lusaka (Zambia’s capital) and Harare (Zimbabwe’s capital) would offer convenient connectivity to Middle East business as well as leisure passengers to reach out to the possibilities Africa offers.

The new flights will offer 42 Business Class seats, 12 First Class seats and generous space for 183 passengers in Economy Class. The new flights would be operated by an A330-200 aircraft. Dubai outbound operation would begin from February 1st, 2012. The move would clearly go down well with people looking at Africa as a potential destination. Africa is one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world currently.

From February 1st,2012 onwards, EK 713 will leave Dubai every Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri and Sun at 0925hrs, and arrive Lusaka at 1450hrs. The service would then leave Lusaka at 1620hrs and arrive Harare at 1720.

Other important routes to be added soon are business flights to St Petersburg that start from 1st November, followed by Baghdad from 13th November. Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires would also be the new links into South America from 3rd January 2012.
