Emirates offers cheap business class fares on NYC-Milan route

Emirates, the gulf airline is offering cheap business class flights on the New York-Milan route. The carrier has announced these fares to celebrate the launch of its daily round trip nonstop flights between the two cities beginning October 1, 2013.

Passengers who wish to fly business class to either of the two global cities can book a round trip for inaugural fares starting at $2,999*. However, customers must book their flights before midnight of August 31, 2013. With this launch, the airline will offer transatlantic connectivity between Milano Malpensa Airport and John F. Kennedy Airport.

The airline will operate Boeing 777-300ER with a capacity of 360 seats on this route. This aircraft comprises eight first class suites, 42 lie flat seats in the business class and 310 seats in the economy class.

Tim Clark, President at Emirates said that only after carefully monitoring traffic flows between the two cities has the airline has decided to open a direct route between New York and Milan.
