Etihad Airways recently inaugurated its new dedicated Premium Lounge for its first class and business class customers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The lounge has been opened at the airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal. The airline's premium customers booking first and business class tickets for travelling on daily EY170 Boeing 777 flights from the U.S. West Coast will be able to take advantage of the new lounge.
The newly built Premium Lounge in Los Angeles will be Etihad Airways' first dedicated hospitality haven in the U.S. West Coast, and the third in the Americas. The airline's other two Premium Lounges in the United States are situated at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
Etihad Airways has designed the Premium Lounge at Los Angeles airport on the similar lines of its other new international lounges. The new lounge will be prominently featuring 'Modern Arabian' décor aptly characterizing for all that the airline stands for. The décor is hugely inspired from the geometric patterns mostly used in both modern and traditional architecture in the UAE capital city Abu Dhabi and its panoramic desert landscape.
The Los Angeles airport's new Premium Lounge is spread in an area of 407 square meter, overlooking the exclusive shopping promenade of the renovated Tom Bradley International Terminal. The lounge will be open for access to Etihad Airways' First Class and Business Class customers, Etihad Guest Platinum, Gold and Silver members traveling on Flight EY170, and Etihad Airways Partner (EAP) airlines' equivalent Platinum and Gold members.
The visitors can look forward to relaxing and re-energizing themselves in its tranquil environment, and availing the amenities usually provided in private members' clubs, fine dining establishments or top hotels. The amenities provided here includes a TV area, an à la carte dining area, shower facilities, showcase bar, free Wi-Fi, a wide choice of daily newspapers and international magazines, and electric and USB power outlets. The visitors can request for a separate VIP area, which would be provided whenever required.
