Etihad Airways increases baggage allowance in economy class

Passengers booking cheap flights and traveling by Etihad Airways to various destinations worldwide needn’t worry any longer.
Etihad Airways recently announced it has increased its baggage allowance for customers traveling in economy class.

The airline in a statement said that its elite flyers traveling in economy class will now be allowed to carry 50 kg of baggage on a complimentary basis.

The airline said that its complimentary baggage allowance for its Coral Economy class guests has been increased by10 kg effective from November 6, 2012.

Etihad Airways, however, disclosed that restrictions will continue to be applied on its customers traveling on the U.S. and Canada sectors. According to the airline, the baggage policies on these sectors are applicable on a per-piece basis.

The airline indicated that the new baggage guidelines would also allow its customers to carry some sporting equipment on a complimentary basis.
