Etihad Airways inaugurated its new flagship First Class Lounge & Spa at Terminal 3 of Abu Dhabi International Airport on May 30, 2016. The opening of the new lounge is aimed at offering unparalleled hospitality to the first class customers as part of the airline’s longstanding commitment. The lounge has been designed to offer ultra-exclusive lifestyle environment and draws inspiration from the world’s upscale dining establishments, private member clubs and renowned hotels.

The newly launched First Class Lounge & Spa would be featuring 16 unique zones created for the guests for rejuvenating, relaxing and entertaining in complete luxury prior to boarding their flights. The lounge is equipped with various amenities such as children’s play room, prayer room, relaxation room, TV room, nail bar, Style & Shave barbers, Six Senses Spa, cigar lounge, fitness room, showcase bar and an à la carte restaurant. The guests can look forward to receiving intuitive services and highly personalized experience while making use of this ultra modern lounge.
Spanning in an area of 1,700 square meter, the First Class Lounge & Spa boasts of fascinating views of Abu Dhabi International Airport. The lounge will be open round-the-clock and offers access to the guests of The Residence, Etihad First Class, Etihad Guest Platinum, Etihad Guest Exclusive members (plus one guest), EAP equivalent Platinum members (plus one guest), EAP ‘invitation only’ members (plus two guests), and Etihad Airways Partner (EAP) airline First Class guests.
Many expertly trained and skilled staff would be attending to the guests of the First Class Lounge & Spa. The lounge comprises of a General Manager, Savoy-trained Butlers, Maître d’Hotel, Concierge, mixologists and chefs.
Meanwhile, Etihad Airways has said that it is planning to open a new First and Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport during the next few months this year.
