Etihad Airways offers world’s best First Class Seats as per Skytrax

As per Skytrax survey of 200 airlines, Etihad Airways has been knighted with the honors of being the world’s best first class service and product provider.

The accolades kept flowing in for Etihad Airways at the Skytrax World Airline Awards where results were announced after an exhaustive poll of over 18 million global travelers spanning across more than 100 countries.

Etihad Airways won the following awards:

- World's Best First Class
- Best First Class Onboard Catering
- Best First Class Airline Seat

Skytrax survey is an annual poll partaken by public and travelers. The awards are given out after considering a wide range of factors such as in flight service, comfort, convenience as well as customer service. The focus is to find the Airline that delivers truly first class service and comfort.

It is not the first time that Etihad has been honored with such ranks. Earlier in 2008, when Etihad airlines introduced a new business class product, it had won a distinction as well. Etihad introduced its First Class suites 12 months later and has repeated the same feat.

Etihad had unveiled First Class cabin suites in 2009. The First class cabin has 12 individual suites aimed at improved privacy, increased storage and greater comfort. Each First Class suite has its own sliding door, mini bar and wardrobe; besides 23 inch wide-screen LCD screen. First class travelers can use the e-box to watch on demand shows, play games and movies. The Airline has also launched ‘Inspired Service’ program that aims at customizing the First class service to meet the taste of travelers on an individual basis.
