Etihad to add more business class seats to Mumbai

Etihad, one of the popular global airlines had been planning to add more seats on its flights to Mumbai. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier recently announced to add additional service to the financial capital of India using a wide-bodied plane on the route.

The airline has planned to deploy Airbus A330 between its hub in Abu Dhabi and Mumbai. The carrier strongly believes Mumbai is one of its most profitable routes and adding seats to the city would benefit it manifolds. Passengers booking business class flights to Mumbai will now be able to experience its luxury onboard the modern aircraft from the French manufacturer. The aircraft flying to Mumbai will comprise a three class-seating configuration. It plans to double its operations to the Indian business center by the end of December 2013. Mumbai is one of the most visited cities in the world by business travelers and hence adding capacity makes sense for the carrier.

The airline shares goodwill for offering luxury to business travelers. Some of the amenities enjoyed by the premium travelers include 6 feet 1 inch wide full flat bed, aisle access to every seat, scrumptious meals under A la carte or Kitchen Anytime options, and five star dining experiences in the company of finest wines. The carrier also provides a personal 15-inch screen, noise cancellation headsets for thorough entertainment, in-built power points to every seat, in-seat massager, comfortable pillows, and mood lighting for a unique travel experience.
