Etihad to commence second daily service to New York in March

Etihad Airways announced its decision to double the frequency of its flights to New York. The big commercial airline of the gulf believes this route has the potential and hence has decided to go ahead with an additional daily flight to one of the busiest cities in the world.

As per the reports, the commercial airline based in Abu Dhabi is all set to launch the second daily flight between Abu Dhabi and New York on March 1, 2014. The airline, which is popular for offering business class flights to several destinations across the world, is sure to benefit from the additional service. Many passengers are happy with the airline’s decision and they are looking forward to the new service.

As per the schedule, the second flight will depart Abu Dhabi International Airport at 1.45 am and arrive at New York John F Kennedy International Airport at 7.45 am the same day. The return flight will depart New York at 11:35 am and will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 9:20 am, the following day. This flight will surely help passengers match their schedules as the first flight leaves the city at about 10:30 am each day. The airline plans to deploy Boeing 777-300ER on this route. This aircraft has a seating capacity for passengers across three classes.

This service is sure to benefit the airline, which operates flights to about 100 destinations across the globe at present. It operates out of its primary hub in Abu Dhabi International Airport.
