Etihad wins Airline of the Year title

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of United Arab Emirates has pleasant news for all. The airline has been crowned Airline of the Year title by the United States based magazine Global Traveler. The readers of the popular magazine played a pivotal role in fetching the coveted title for the airline.

Etihad is a popular airline for business class flights across the globe. Many travelers from all parts of the world prefer to fly with the airline as it offers service to over 90 destinations across Asia, Europe, Americas, Africa, Australia, and the Middle East. Apart from winning the Airline of the Year award, the airline has also been named as the Best Airline for First Class and Best Airport Lounges.
 
The airline is renowned for offering world-class in-flight services to its customers. Some of these include a Chef in the Diamond First Class, Food and Beverage Manage in Pearl Business Class and the recently introduced Flying Nanny concept. The airline, which has been expanding its network across the globe, has earned itself praises from all quarters. It is also rapidly adding more planes to its fleet.

The airline offers flights to several U.S. gateways including Chicago, Washington D.C, and New York. It also has a daily return service planned between Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles beginning June 1, 2014. It intends to add more U.S. cities to its itinerary. Its luxurious lounge at Washington Dulles International Airport and many more are set to open next year.
