EVA Airways to increase frequencies on North American routes

Taiwan’s second largest carrier EVA Airways has announced that it will be increasing its flights services on many North American routes. The airline plans to increase the frequencies in the middle of this year. The routes which will see the frequencies being expanded include New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver.

EVA Airways in a statement said that the number of flights being currently operated on New York route would now be increased to seven from the existing five every week. The weekly flights services on this route would be expanded in June 2014.

The airline further said that now the customers traveling on Los Angeles and San Francisco routes would get increased options to buy plane tickets at competitive rates. EVA Airways flights to Los Angeles will be increased to 21 from 18, while frequencies on San Francisco route will see an increase of 14 flights instead of the existing 12 flights every week.
 
Apart from the route in the United States, the airline will also be increasing flights services to Toronto and Vancouver. EVA Airways revealed that it is planning to increase the number of flights being operated presently to Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver to four from the existing three. According to the airline, the North American routes will not only see the increase in the frequencies, but also see the routes being operated with the help of three new Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts next quarter.
