Finnair business class fliers to enjoy new Signature Menus

Finnair has revamped its meal service for its customers booking business class tickets. The airline recently announced its business class customers will now get to enjoy new Signature Menus specially created by famous Finnish chefs Tomi Björck and Pekka Terävä.

According to Finnair, the menus prepared by Tomi Björck includes specialties inspired by Thai and Japanese food and offers both meat-based dishes and vegetarian options. Björck said that his creations to be offered to business class fliers include butternut squash dressed in a symphony of Asian spices, and Japanese ramen noodles and spicy salmon. Björck stated that his chosen ingredients would be reflecting the passion in modern Asian cuisine.

Regarding exclusive cuisine prepared by Pekka Terävä, Finnair said that the menu includes Finnish specialties like reindeer fillet with mushroom puree, organic barley and oven-baked potatoes.  Terävä said that his menu is greatly influenced by the purity of Finnish nature taking advantage of Finnish natural ingredients like seasonal vegetables and wild game and fish. Finnair said that it is going to introduce the Signature Menus in business class cabins on its long-haul flights throughout the autumn excluding Chongqing, Xi´an and Hanoi. The airline also stated that specially selected award-winning wines would be complementing both Signature Menus.
