Finnair to launch seasonal flights to Miami, offer business class

Finnair announced its decision to launch seasonal service to Miami. The European airline is all set to commence flights between Helsinki and Miami beginning this December. The Vantaa, Helsinki headquartered airline is keen to expand it footprints across the globe and especially in the United States.

The news that the airline will soon offer business class flights between its hub and the popular Florida destination spread a wave of joy amongst the frequent travelers on the sector. As per the initial declaration, the airline will deploy Airbus A340 aircraft to fly the route. This plane will be equipped with a seating capacity across two classes’ business class and economy class. The service will operate during the period of December 16, 2014 and March 21, 2015. The airline will offer twice a week service until January 2, 2015. From January 3 onwards, it will launch additional service on Saturdays hence bringing the total number of weekly flights to three.

According to the schedule, the flights will depart Helsinki every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:55 am and arrive in Miami at 2:05 pm, local time. Return flights will depart Miami at 4:00 pm and arrive in Helsinki at 8:50 am, the following day.

The airline operates flights to about 86 domestic and international destinations. It flies to a number of cities in the United States including Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, and Los Angeles among others. Business class travelers onboard its flights enjoy excellent services like delectable meals, award-winning beverages, fully flat bed seats, access to airport lounges, as well as a wide range of entertainment options onboard.
