Finnair wins best European airline award

Finnair, the flagship carrier of Finland has pleasant news for its passengers. The airline has been named as the Best European Airline at the TTG Travel Awards. The 24th edition of the awards was held at Bangkok recently. These awards are an annual affair. They recognize the efforts of the airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for their excellent services and offerings.

The readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, and TTG Asia Luxury all voted in favor of one of the oldest running airlines in the world. Some of the parameters on which the voters judged the airline include punctuality, service quality, and hassle-free transfers. The airline is extremely happy with its performance and informed that it is coming up with a few more upgrades for the benefit of the customers. It operates 13 flights to various cities in Asia and serves more than 60 European cities. It hopes to continue to please customers in the future as well.

It is set to celebrate its 90th birthday on November 1, 2013. Around that time, it readies to unveil a few upgrades that will surprise its customers. Some of the improvements anticipated include better pillows, blankets, headrest covers, napkins, and tableware. It also plans to include Airbus A350s to its fleet in 2015.
