First phase of renovation now complete at New York Hilton Midtown

New York City’s largest hotel New York Hilton Midtown recently announced it has completed the first phase of renovation of its executive level rooms. The hotel presently has a total of 1,985 rooms. The hotel had earlier launched guest room renovation program scheduled to be undertaken for next few years. During the first phase, renovation of 187 guest rooms as well as 41 suites located on floors 39-44 was completed.

Mark Lauer, General Manager of New York Hilton Midtown, said that the new design of rooms is contemporary, sleek and attractive. Extra care has been taken to put the guests at ease during their stay here while offering the best amenities and services.

The guests planning to stay at New York Hilton Midtown can now look forward to amenities such as abundant workspaces, relaxing lounges, multiple power points, oversized 55” flat screen televisions for enhanced entertainment experience, and custom dimmable lighting.

Under the first phase of renovation, a new cabling infrastructure has been done for supporting Wi-Fi network on every floor. The hotel aims to provide faster Internet access. The internet access to all guest rooms will be covered by over 1,200 Wireless Access Points. All lobby level areas have also been renovated. New stone flooring has been installed throughout the lobby level. A luxurious Executive Lounge and a new reception area have also come up.

The New York Hilton Midtown under its first phase renovation program has opened its first Herb N’ Kitchen. This new dining concept will offer local gourmet food options to the guests for their dinner, lunch or breakfast. The guests can also choose to dine in upscale restaurant at their leisure or seek in-room delivery.

New York Hilton Midtown is favored by sophisticated domestic as well as international business travelers. New York’s popular areas such as Fifth Avenue shopping district, Broadway theaters and Times Square are within walking distance from the hotel.
