Florida hotels among winners of top AAA ratings

Florida is a popular gateway into the United States. South Florida cities like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Key West and West Palm Beach are popular destinations for travelers into the country. The hotel industry in these cities and other parts of the region are flourishing. Increasing number of travelers and infrastructure development are reasons for the development of the hotel industry. There is good news for some of these hotels. At least 50 of South Florida hotels have secured top AAA rankings this year.

Of the total 144 Florida properties, 50 hotels located in different parts of South Florida have earned AAA four or five diamond ratings for the year 2014. The list was recently released by AAA, a popular motoring and leisure travel group.

Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and Atlantic Hotel & Spa are two hotels to receive four-diamond ratings in Fort Lauderdale. Boca Raton Resort & Club, Delray Beach Marriott, and PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach County too earned the four-diamond ratings. On the other hand, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, The Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale and Mandarin Oriental in Miami, and The Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach received five-diamond ratings from the group.
