Oman Air’s frequent flyer program: Sindbad has recently introduced the option to let its flyer program members participate in online raffles. To participate, members can use their miles to purchase online raffles tickets and stand a chance to win some exciting gifts.

Addition of raffles tickets will offer passengers more options to use their miles. Besides redeeming them for cheap flight tickets and Upgrades, passengers would now have options outside of regular airline operations. If the move is successful, it may leave a positive trend and soon other frequent flyer programs may start offering bigger bouquet of redeemable goods and services.

To conduct online raffles, the airline has associated with the Ritz-Carlton Al Bustan Palace, Muscat.  A raffle tickets would cost members just 100 Sindbad Miles.  In return, they can win a two nights' stay for 2 at the Al Bustan Palace. The stay would include breakfast as well as dinner at the award-winning Al Khiran Restaurant.
