Flying business class becomes a premium experience

These days many international airlines are trying to do away with first class completely, and making huge investment in business class product. In fact, business class has now become a benchmark to adjudge an airline. One such airline making extensive efforts to revolutionize its business class is United Airlines. It has been striving for over past four years to revamp its business class product. The airline has rebranded its business class and named it ‘Polaris’ in honor of the North Star. With its new business class the airline wants to ensure that it has the potential to outclass others and compete with the best.

Travel experts said that much has changed with United Airlines’ business class. There’s a vast difference between the old business class and the upgraded version. The old business class was among the most densely packed, while the upgraded version offers aisle access while simultaneously maintaining space efficiency.

Mark Krolick, United Airlines’ Vice President of Marketing, said, “The Polaris has been designed to offer enhanced flying experience with its luxurious and highly comfortable seat. We have always kept our valuable customers’ convenience in mind and want to ensure that they are provided the best possible experience. We took the feedback from our frequent flyers through a survey asking them how best we can provide food, bedding and amenities. Apart from these, we also kept the importance of storage in mind. It was only then after thoroughly studying their feedback we decided to design Polaris.”
