Frontier Airlines brings Northern Red Cardinal to Ohio skies

You are soon going to spot Ohio’s state bird Northern Red Cardinal in the skies of Greater Cleveland on an aircraft. Frontier Airlines recently announced that the tail fin of its Airbus A320 aircraft has been painted with a gigantic Northern Red Cardinal. The new look aircraft will begin operating at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport from this week onwards.

This is for the first time that Denver-based Frontier Airlines has got its aircraft pint scheme dedicated to any state in the United States. The airline said that the tail of its newly acquired 177-seat Airbus A320 has now been emblazoned with the Ohio's state bird. The move by the airline is an attempt to connect with the people of the stay and attract them to fly with the cheap airfares that it usually offers.

The airline also announced a two-day fare sale offering discounted flight tickets to Raleigh-Durham and Seattle. These are the two new nonstop destinations where the airline is scheduled to begin flight operations from Cleveland effective from April 30, 2015. The travel on the offer is valid from April 30 through May 27, 2015.

Frontier Airlines is currently providing nonstop flight services to 12 destinations within the United States from Cleveland. The nonstop flights will however remain only 11 when the seasonal flights to Phoenix end at the end of April.

The airline also indicated that it will begin new flights to Atlanta and Fort Myers starting from April 30. It is presently serving 9 nonstop destinations from Cincinnati, which will now grow to 11 after the launch of new service to Fort Myers and Atlanta.
