Denver-based Frontier Airlines announced it has expanded its nonstop flights services from Colorado Springs. The airline will be serving five new markets from Colorado Springs Airport. Media reports said that flights to Washington and San Diego were launched by the airline starting July 10, 2017. The two destinations will be served with a daily service.
According to the reports, Frontier Airlines will be launching daily flights from Colorado Springs to San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles effective July 12 this year. Apart from five new destinations, the airline is also planning to launch direct flights to Tampa and Fort Myers as well this fall.
Meanwhile, Frontier Airlines has said it will be launching new flights to Providence and Islip effective from August 14 and August 16 respectively. This will be the airline’s first ever foray into the New England market, and will also be flying to either city for the first time.
A spokesperson of Frontier Airlines also said that the company is also planning to launch flights from Providence to Denver and Orlando. Frontier Airlines will also become the only airline to operate nonstop flights between Denver and Providence.
In addition to these new destinations, there are many more markets where Frontier Airlines is planning to launch its services. The airline said that it will be launching new flights between Orlando and Islip, and also introduce services on Las Vegas-Raleigh/Durham route as well. Moreover, flights between Miami and Las Vegas are also set to resume.
It may be noted that Frontier Airlines had earlier announced that it would be launching 11 new routes across the United States in June and July this year, where flights would operate year-round or seasonal. These destinations include Washington Dulles, Sioux Falls, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Colorado Springs, Chicago and Bismarck. Over the past few years Frontier Airlines has been making extensive efforts to expand services and launch direct flights on new routes.
