Frontier Airlines Irene-hit customers to be waived change fee or fare difference

Frontier Airlines has announced that it has put into place new travel policy guidelines for the customers who might have been affected by Hurricane Irene.

The airline said that this is applicable for passengers who bought tickets on or before August 24, 2011 for their travel to and from New York (LaGuardia), Boston, Washington, D.C. (Reagan), Hartford, Newark, Newport News/Williamsburg or Philadelphia for travel between August 24 to August 29, 2011.

Frontier Airlines said that the customers who are yet to travel are permitted to make one change to their travel plans. The airline will waive change fee or fare difference if the change in itinerary is made latest by August 28, 2011. The customers are, however, required to complete their travel by August 29, 2011.

Frontier Airlines is the leading low cost carrier in the United States and provide cheap flight deals to its customers on a regular basis.
