Frontier Airlines launched new flights to Missoula

Frontier Airlines, one of the top airlines of America, has introduced new direct flights between Denver and Missoula. The service on this route commenced from June 13, 2014.

The flights will operate using 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft. During summer, the airlines will provide four flights per week, while during winter it will provide only three flights per week. To mark the launch of this new route, the airline is offering introductory fares starting from $65 for one-way travel.

Apart from Frontier, other competitors including Alaska, Delta, Allegiant, and United Airlines are also providing flights from Missoula. The competitors are responding to this news are have decided to offer thousands of new seats to passengers. This will increase the number of travelers and make the airport crowded. The terminal is undergoing renovation to handle more passengers and will be completed this July. The most important attraction will be the outdoor deck of the airport.

Daniel Shurz, vice president of Frontier Airlines, said they are very glad to introduce this service to the people of Missoula. Now, the travelers will enjoy cheap fares with many options to choose from.

Barbara Berens, chairwoman Missoula County Airport, said she is very pleased for low fare flights introduced by the Frontier Airlines. She credited the success of this launch to the combined efforts of their airport personnel and their business community. The passengers of Missoula have waited with bated breath to get a low-cost carrier.

James Grunke, CEO of Missoula Economic Partnership, said that increase in flight options from Missoula and availability of cheap air tickets will increase business and will promote economic development in the area. Frontier’s service will allow business passengers to get links to 30 destinations. This is a great success and will promote local businesses to utilize it to their utmost level. The flights from Denver will fly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays while the flights from Missoula will fly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
