Frontier Airlines passenger traffic up 4% in August

Frontier Airlines recently declared its operational results for August 2011, which reflect positive growth in passenger traffic. The airline reported an increase of 4% in passenger traffic for August this year as compared to the same month in 2010.

Frontier Airlines said that it carried an impressive 1.5 million passengers in the month of August in 2011. The airline also reported an increase of 2% in its load factor. According to the airline’s operational results, its load factor was 90% in August 2011 as compared to 88% in August last year.

Frontier Airlines further said that it had so far in 2011 served 10,105,805 passengers, which registered an increase of 1% when compared to the same period in 2010. The airline had carried 9,964,093 during the same period last year.
