Frontier Airlines successfully completes IATA safety audit

Frontier Airlines recently disclosed that it has received the coveted IOSA Registration after successfully completing the Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) held by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Expressing his happiness on achieving IOSA registration, a top official of the airline said that the importance of achieving IOSA registration can’t be overstated because safety has always been the primary operating goal of Frontier Airlines. He said that attaining of IOSA registration is in fact a tribute to the hard efforts by more than 5,000 employees of Frontier Airlines who take the best care of customers and affirms that the airline has been meeting or exceeding the strictest safety standards in the world.

Attaining IOSA registration by an airline affirms global standards for safety, quality and operations performance. By joining the IOSA Registry, the high-value, low-cost carrier is provided official recognition that confirms its meeting or exceeding industry standards which are strictest in the world. The audit covers 8 areas, which include flight operations; cargo operations; corporate organization and management; operational security; aircraft ground handling; operational control/flight dispatch; cabin operations; and aircraft engineering and maintenance.

Frontier Airlines operates flights to Mexico, Costa Rica and the US connecting more than 80 destinations from its hubs at Denver International Airport, Kansas City International Airport and Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport.
