Frontier Resumes Service Between Great Fall and Denver

Frontier Airlines in a recent announcement stated they will resume its flights between Great Falls and Denver. They plan to resume their last summer schedule and will offer cheap flights between the two cities from May 14 until September 30.

Frontier will fly on this route four times a week. A 138-seat Airbus will depart Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 8.10 am from Denver. The return flight will leave from Great Falls at 10.30 am the same day.

Frontier, a popular low-cost airline of the US first started flying this sector two years back. John Faulkner, Director of Great Falls International Airport, said this route has proved to be profitable not just for Frontier but also for the people. The low-fare strategy of Frontier made sure that the other carriers operating the same route were forced to reduce their prices, curbing in the passenger leakage to other airports. Further, Faulkner said that the airline on the basis of the demand might even extend this service until the winter of 2014.
