Frontier to launch another service on Cincinnati-Denver route

Frontier Airlines announced its decision to launch new flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The airline is all set to commence flights between Cincinnati and Denver next year. The nonstop service will complement its the already existing service between the city pair.

The Denver based airline is popular for offering cheap tickets to passengers for flights within the United States and destinations in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico. In fact, Denver International Airport is its main hub and at present, it operates service to over 75 destinations. The new service will take off on its maiden flight in May and will operate twice a week initially. However, the airline will boost the frequency to 11 flights per week in August 2014.

The airline launched flights out of Cincinnati for the first time in May 2013. In October 2013, the low cost airline announced its intention to add yet another destination from the city. Flights from Cincinnati and Trenton Mercer Airport in Ewing, New Jersey will start operations in February 2014. The airline is keen on expanding its footprints across the country and hence is carving out new routes and services. It is especially keen on launching flights between those cities where passenger demands are high and the one it deems profitable.

As per the schedule, the airline will offer two flights a day on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and one each on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The airline will use the services of 168-seater Airbus A320, or 138-seater Airbus aircraft on this route.
