Hainan Airlines named top business class airline in Asia

China’s Hainan Airlines has been lauded for providing best services to its business class customers traveling on Asian routes. At the recently-concluded World Travel Awards (WTA) ceremony in New Delhi, India, the airline was presented with “Asia’s Leading Airline Business Class” award for 2014.

The airlines also won two WTA recognitions in 2013 as well. It was presented with “World’s Leading Airline Economy Class” and “Asia’s Leading Airline Economy Class” awards last year. The two awards made it stand in good stead, which ultimately culminated in receiving yet another laurel this year as well.

Apart from winning “Asia’s Leading Airline Business Class”, it was also shortlisted in two other categories at the Asian level. These included “Asia’s Leading Airline” and “Asia’s Leading Airline Economy Class”. Among other airlines to be shortlisted for “Asia’s Leading Airline Business Class” included Air India, China Airlines, Air China, Cathay Pacific Airways, Japan Airlines and Singapore Airlines.

Po Tan, Hainan Airlines’ Brand Communications Head, said that it was a matter of great pride that the judges on the WTA awards panel and the airline’s customers reposed their trust and acknowledged the best services being provided in business class for which it recently won the award at the Asian level. He also said that the airline would continue to be guided by its solemn objective and committed to offer its excellent services as ever by proving to be a ‘world-class airline with oriental beauty’.

In addition to operating flights on Asian routes, the airline has also been offering nonstop flights to Chicago, Seattle, Boston and Toronto.
