Hainan Airlines to launch Beijing-Boston service in June 2014

Hainan Airlines announced its plan to launch service to Boston. The airline said it intends to launch nonstop service between Beijing and Boston. The new route is slated for June 20, 2014 launch. This route will mark first nonstop flight between the city pair.

Passengers will soon to able to book plane tickets and enjoy their journey onboard one of the industry’s most advanced airline, Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The airline will operate this service on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The airline has its hub in Beijing and looks forward to tap the potential customers traveling from Boston to other parts of the country. It offers flights to destinations like Shanghai, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Xi’an, and Haikou within China. The airline also flies to other cities in North America from Beijing including Seattle, Chicago, and Toronto.

As per the schedule, flights will depart Logan Airport at 5:10 pm and arrive in Beijing Capital International Airport at 6:50 pm the next day. Return flights will depart Beijing at 1:50 pm and arrive in Boston at 3:10 pm the same day. Passengers will have to travel a little over 13 hours to fly to their destination. Currently the airline flies to several domestic and international destinations from its hubs in Haikou Meilan International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport.
