Hawaiian Airlines new Plumeria Lounge for business class

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced that its new Plumeria Lounge has been opened for access to international business class customers taking flights to different parts of the world. The lounge, which was inaugurated in June this year, was a part of the airline’s multi-million dollar revamp project involving the airline’s six airport lounges across the State of Hawaii.

A spokesperson of Hawaiian Airlines said that the revamped business class lounge at Honolulu International Airport would be complementing the airline’s renovated Premier Club at the airport, which opened for access to the customers in January 2015.

The spokesperson also said that similar Premier Club overhauls were completed and opened for the travellers at Kahului Airport in Maui, and Kona International Airport and Hilo International Airport on the Big Island in the State of Hawaii this spring.  The Premier Club at Lihue Airport on Kauai was however opened in May after its completion.

The new Plumeria Lounge is quite spacious spanning in an area of 3,600-square-foot. The business class customers gaining access to the lounge would be offered complimentary wine, local craft beers and catered food options. The premium fliers would be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks while relaxing at the lounge. They will also be able to make use of the complimentary Wi-Fi service as well.

Matthew Chang, Director of Partnerships and Alliance of Hawaiian Airlines, said, “The airline started offering access to the Plumeria Lounge effective from July 15, 2015. It is situated on the third floor of the Honolulu interisland terminal and is available for access to Hawaiian Airlines’ business class customers after paying a fee.”
