Iberia nonstop Madrid-Manchester flights to begin Oct 30

Iberia recently announced that it will be offering direct, nonstop flights to Manchester and Glasgow from Madrid during the winter schedule.

The airline said that Manchester flights will start operating daily from October 30, 2011, while flights to Glasgow will begin operating from November 1, 2011 twice weekly.

The airline further said that it will be using both the routes for point-to-point traffic between Madrid and Manchester and Glasgow, besides providing traffic to long-haul network of Iberia.

Iberia also said that it will be continuing its partnership with Vueling for the winter season so that it continues to operate codeshare flights to various European destinations from Madrid.

Besides, Iberia has also disclosed that it will reinforce its brand in Spain and resume operations at Spanish airports where it stopped flying in summer, such as Fuerteventura, Majorca, San Sebastian, Lanzarote and Pamplona, and also Santander, where it has not flown for a decade.
