ICELANDAIR OFFERS A FRIENDLY HAND TO WASHINGTON D.C.

Icelandair recently announced the organizing an international event “A Taste of Iceland” in the capital city of Unites States, Washington D.C. The airline in cooperation with Iceland Naturally and a host of Washington, D.C. establishments will entertain the Washingtonians with Icelandic music, cuisine, film and culture.

The event that will take place between 24th February 2011 and 27th February 2011, will present the Iceland’s hottest celebrity chefs, up-and-coming bands, and latest film releases to all the viewers. The event will then be followed by the announcement of the new non-stop service from Washington Dulles International Airport that will commence from 17th May 2011.

The airline took this significant step to strengthen the relations between the two nations, United States and Iceland. The event will be open for all the music and food lovers who wish to enjoy “A Taste of Iceland on their own.
