Icelandair to increase Denver-Reykjavik flights in summer 2013

Iceland’s national flag carrier Icelandair has decided to increase its flights frequencies on Denver-Reykjavik route starting in summer 2013.
The airline’s decision to offer more flights has come as a boon for frequent flyers booking air tickets and traveling from Denver International Airport to Reykjavik.

Currently, Icelandair is operating four nonstop flights every week between Denver and Reykjavik. The airline will now be increasing its frequency and offering six flights every week. The airline started offering its service between the two cities four months ago on May 11, 2012.

Apart from Reykjavik, Icelandair also offers flights services to Amsterdam, Munich, Paris, London and other European cities. The airline is also planning to begin flights to new destinations, such as Zurich and St. Petersburg, from June 2013.

CEO of Icelandair Birkir Holm Gudnason said that the airline recently celebrated 75 years of aviation and currently operates the strongest flight network in its history. The airline offers great travel options for its customers to book flights to various European cities.
