Japan Airlines (JAL) has decided to offer new amenity kits to its business class customers travelling on select international routes effective December 28 this year.
The airline has tied up with luggage manufacturer Zero Halliburton for designing the new amenity kits. The company is renowned for making aluminium cases, which were used for carrying moon rocks back to Earth on Apollo 11 in 1969.
The passengers travelling on outbound flights from Japan would be offered designer kits in a soft case. However, those booking inbound flights would be offered amenity kits in a semi-hard case.
The colors of the kits would keep on changing through the seasons. These colors will be prominently featuring orange or dark green on outbound flights, while it would be black or red on inbound flights. During the launch of amenity kits, the semi-hard case would be of red color and the soft case would be of dark green color. The amenities in the kit will comprise of earplugs, eye mask, moisture mask, toothbrush, lip balm and pocket issue.
The select international routes on which the new amenity kits would be provided include Tokyo Haneda-Paris, Tokyo Haneda- London, Tokyo Haneda-San Francisco, Osaka-Los Angeles, Tokyo Narita-Sydney, Tokyo Narita-Moscow, Tokyo Narita-Helsinki, Tokyo Narita-Frankfurt, Tokyo Narita-Paris, Tokyo Narita-Vancouver, Tokyo Narita-San Diego, Tokyo Narita-Los Angeles, Tokyo Narita-Dallas/Fort Worth, Tokyo Narita-Chicago, Tokyo Narita-Boston, and Tokyo Narita-New York JFK.
Japan Airlines will now become the first airline in the world to provide original amenity kits in collaboration with the renowned luggage manufacturer Zero Halliburton.
