JAL unveil new spring menu on Chicago, LAX business class flights

If you are a premium customer traveling in first class or business class flights to Chicago or Los Angeles on Japan Airlines (JAL), then delicious cuisines created by an acclaimed chef awaits you.

Japan Airlines recently announced it will start serving its first class and business class customers a brand new spring menu on its Los Angeles and Chicago routes effective from March 1, 2015. The special meals will be created by none other than the airline’s own Corporate Chef Naoki Uchiyama. The meals were first introduced on flights between New York and Tokyo.

Chef Naoki Uchiyama has extensive experience and had earlier worked as head chef at some of the top hotels and restaurants in the United States. The new spring menu specially created by Chef Uchiyama will undoubtedly delight the customers.

Japan Airlines had ever since January 2013 been continuously introducing high-quality meals for its premium customers on board flights to various destinations in North America, Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe under its “JAL BEDD SKY AUBERGE” meal service concept prominently showcasing it as “Your Exclusive Restaurant in the Sky”.

The new meal lineup to be offered in first class and business class cabins on Chicago and Los Angeles routes starting from March 1 include select Japanese sake brands and rare high-profile brands that are simply difficult to get. The first class customers will be offered JAL’s original "Juyondai" and "Isojiman", which are only available onboard. The airline will be offering its business class customers seasonal brands such as "Sawaya Matsumoto".
