Japan Airlines under its ‘Exclusive Restaurant in the Sky’ concept has recently introduced the high-class dining on its various international routes, including North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Australia. The airline is offering its new Winter Menu consisting of a Western menu and a Japanese menu to its customers booking first class and business class flights since December 1, 2014.
For First class passengers the French menu has been created Chef Shimomura, who is associated with Edition Koji Shimomura restaurant. The dishes being offered to the premium customers are light, simple, pleasing and delicious. This menu will be offered to the passengers booking first class flights from Tokyo to Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Jakarta, Sydney, Paris and London.
The Japanese menu has been prepared by Chef Seiji Yamamoto, who is also the owner of Tokyo-based Nihonryori Ryugin restaurant. This restaurant is also considered to be among the top 50 restaurants in the world. The menu will be served on various first class routes, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London and Jakarta.
The western menus for customers booking business class flights have been prepared by Chef Chikara Yamada, who is considered to be a master craftsman in creating exotic and delectable dishes. The western menus to be served in business class will be provided on flights to Honolulu, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Paris, Helsinki, Frankfurt, London and San Diego.
A Special Menu has been exclusively created by Japan Airlines corporate Chef Naoki Uchiyama for business class customers traveling between New York and Tokyo. Chef Uchiyama has earlier worked as executive chef with some of the top-ranking restaurants in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
