Japan Airlines to suspend 74 international air flights

Japan Airlines, one of the leading Japanese international airlines, recently announced its decision to suspend 74 international air flights and to shift the focus over its domestic flights service. The airline took the decision to provide assistance to the recently earthquake-hit victims.

The airline said that it will suspend its air line flights that operate over 11 international routes from 6th April 2011 until 27th April 2011. The temporarily withdrawn flights will be operated over its domestic routes such as Yamagata and Osaka and Sapporo till April.

The flights that operate between Narita and Honolulu, Shanghai and Seoul will be decreased to 14 from 21 and the flights that operate over Narita to Beijing, Seoul, Pusan and Taipei will be reduced to half i.e. from 7 to 14.

The carrier will also hold its services between Narita and Hong Kong during the same period.
