Jet Airways to add another flight between Mumbai and Singapore

Jet Airways recently announced its plans to increase frequency between Mumbai and Singapore. The commercial airline said it plans to launch second daily nonstop flight on the route starting from November 1, 2013.

The airline will offer two-class service on the route including business class. Passengers who wish to book business class flights to Mumbai will now have another option to choose their flying schedule. With the added service, Jet will offer business and leisure travelers a chance to experience the Indian hospitality up in the air.

The airline will use the services of Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft with Sky Interiors on this route. The Mumbai-Singapore route is a high density, and profitable route for the airline. Singapore and Mumbai are financial capitals and hence many business travelers apart from leisure travelers fly on this route.

The airline is one of the renowned private airlines of India operating a wide network of domestic and international routes. The airline over the years has won many awards for its business class offerings to the customers.

At present, the airline operates Airbus A330 planes between Mumbai and Singapore. The B737 planes will complement the existing Airbus aircrafts to provide the customers comfortable and luxurious travel to the Indian metropolitan. The service between Changi Airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is highly awaited.

The airline is India’s largest domestic and second-largest international operator. It has about 400 daily flights departing to 64 destinations. In the year 2008, the airline won the honors as the world’s best long haul airline.
