JetBlue Adds Seasonal Service to Caribbean and Latin America

New York City-based carrier JetBlue announced adding three direct flights this winter season. Beginning November 1, 2014 all the three services will be added from Boston to Caribbean and the Latin America.

The airline will now offer seasonal flights to Hewanorra International Airport in Saint Lucia, Gregorio Luperón International Airport in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica from Boston Logan International Airport. All three flights will be operated once a week flights on every Saturdays.

The three new destinations constitute 52nd, 53rd and 54th direct routes operated from Boston by JetBlue, its largest carrier. The airline is fast expanding its reach to the Caribbean and Latin American region offering Bostonians even more travel options. With this launch, the carrier will only offer nonstop flights to Saint Lucia and Costa Rica from Boston.

On BOS-LIR route flight will leave BOS at 0700 hours and arrive in LIR at 1140 hours. Return flight will leave LIR at 1240 hours and arrive is BOS at 1900 hours. On BOS-POP route flight will leave BOS at 1030 hours and arrive in POP at 1524 hours. Return flight will leave POP at 1620 hours and arrive in BOS at 1910 hours. On BOS-UVF route flight will leave BOS at 0945 hours and arrive in UVF at 1529 hours. Return flight will leave UVF at 1625 hours and arrive in BOS at 2040 hours.

150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft will operate all the three routes. Passengers on all these routes will experience JetBlue’s award-winning amenities and services comprising comfy seats, first-checked in bag at no extra charge, free unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, free movie watching experience on seatback TV monitors and leg space more than any other low-cost American carrier.

As of now JetBlue flies from Boston to 13 Latin American and Caribbean destinations namely Aruba, Bermuda, Cancan, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Nassau, Punta Cana, Saint Maarten, Saint Thomas, San Juan, Santiago, Santo Domingo and Providenciales.

Tickets are up for sale for these three new routes. Introductory fares are offered passengers and they can fly as low as $199* for one-way travel.
