JetBlue Airways intro cheap tickets at US$59 for Fort Lauderdale-Kingston flights

JetBlue Airways recently announced that it will launch its new flights to Kingston from Fort Lauderdale beginning April 30, 2012. The airline is offering cheap tickets to Kingston starting from as low as US$59 one-way, based on roundtrip purchase.

The tickets are already on sale now and cheap flights to Kingston can be booked now. The nonstop flights to Kingston from Fort Lauderdale will operate twice daily.

JetBlue Airways in a statement said that flights from Fort Lauderdale will take nearly 50 minutes to reach Kingston. According to the airline, the twice-daily nonstop flights will depart Fort Lauderdale at 7 am and 4.50 pm respectively, while the return flight from Kingston will depart at 8.40 am and 6.30 pm respectively.

The launch of the new Fort Lauderdale-Kingston flight service by JetBlue Airways is expected to put the airline into intense competition with Spirit Airlines, Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica on this new route.

Besides Fort Lauderdale-Kingston flights, JetBlue Airways will also launch flights to St. Thomas and St. Croix from San Juan starting December 12, 2011. Other new routes to be launched include Boston-St. Thomas (December 15, 2011), Hartford-San Juan (January 5, 2012), and Hartford-West Palm Beach (January 12, 2012).
