JetBlue offers new nonstop service to Caribbean

JetBlue Airways announced the launch of new nonstop flight service to Curacao in the Caribbean Region. Beginning December 2, the airline will offer flights to Curacao from New York.

The airline will offer flights on this route twice every week i.e. every Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights will leave New York at 0900 hours and arrive in Curacao at 1430 hours; return flight will leave 1530 hours and arrive in New York at 1914 hours. This new route will be operated using the services of a 150-seat Airbus A320 jet.

As per the airline the new route is part of its continued expansion plan into Latin America and the Caribbean. Both Latin America and Caribbean accounts for one-third of JetBlue’s operation. With this launch the airline has become the first airline to offer nonstop service on this route.

Robin Hayes, President JetBlue said, we are happy with the launch of this only nonstop service between New York and Curacao. This nonstop service will offer passengers smoother connectivity. We now offer maximum number of nonstop flights to the Caribbean than any other airline. This is our 31st Caribbean destination and Curacao is believed to be the nicest of all.

Stanley Palm, Curaçao’s minister of economic development said we have been working very closely with JetBlue in order to make this service possible and now finally the day has come when it has become a reality. Curacao is Caribbean’s most thriving destination in terms of culture and diversity. And we are happy to share the same with more visitors.
