Korean Air carries its Airbus A380 aircraft first flight test

Korean Air recently conducted the test of its first Airbus A380 aircraft in Hamburg, as a part of its final phase of production before going into service.

After the test results the airline will fly the aircraft to Toulouse for the delivery ceremony, which will be later deployed on routes between Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong from June 2011.

This will be the first superjumbo of Korean Air whose upper deck will be entirely reserved for the business class seats. The aircraft will also be world’s first aircraft to consist of an inflight duty free store –the Duty free Showcase - on the main deck.

Korea Air is expecting deliveries of four more Airbus A380s by the year’s end and other five by 2014.
