Korean Air to offer new Prestige Class seats on Boeing 777-300ER

Korean Air has recently introduced new seats in First Class and Business Class (Prestige Class). After the launch of the new seats, the airline said that it is committed to offer more privacy and spacious seats to its premium customers. The new seats along with enhanced in-flight entertainment system will be offered on its Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts.

A spokesperson of Korean Air said that the Kosmo Suites (First Class seats) will now have sliding doors and the width of seats in bed mode for ensuring increased privacy, space and comfort. The airline will be offering a total of eight Kosmo Suite seats in its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The airline said that the seats in its Prestige Suites (Business Class) will now have armrests that will slide down automatically so that the passenger is able to lie back flat into bed mode seat. The width of bed-mode has also been increased to 22.5 inches from the earlier 21 inches. The customers traveling in Prestige Suites will be offered a total of 42 business class seats on the B777-300ER aircraft.
 
According to Korean Air, the First Class and Prestige Class will now offer upgraded state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system with a video panel controller resembling to a smartphone. The customers traveling in both the classes will be able to watch films and games, and also enjoy an in-flight show as well displaying updated flight information and aircraft’s flight path.

Korean Air has indicated that it is planning to install new seats with several enhanced features on its Boeing 747-8i, Boeing 787-9 and Airbus 330-300 aircrafts for which orders have already been placed.
