Korean Air’s Airbus A380 in-flight shop For Business Travelers

Korean Air’s newly configured Airbus A380 has successfully made its first flights from Asia to JFK Airport, New York.

While the new carrier flew with 121 seats less than its most densely configured A380, with 407 seats including 94 business class seats, the new Airbus A380 would appeal more to the business class travelers. Called the Prestige Class, plane’s top deck is exclusively reserved for business class passengers. On purchase of Korean Air’s business class seats, passengers get access to lie-flat seats on their trips between New York and Seoul. Each seats is separated by 6 feet and offer privacy and room. Besides the 94 business class seats, the Airbus also features 12 First Class and 301 economy class seats.

Along with comfort, business class seats also offer access to bar that serve traditional and premium cocktails. The Airbus is also the first plane to offer an in-flight duty free shop to its passengers including the business class travelers on board. Passengers can buy different products such as perfumes, cosmetics, liquor and accessories. The highlight of all these products is that they are magnetized so that they do not fall if the airplane hits turbulence.

Los Angeles route being added to the airline’s A380 Business Class services from October.
