La Compagnie democratizes business class flying with cheap fares

La Compagnie, the all-business class French carrier, has said it will aggressively pursue its objectives to “democratize” business class flying once again. The airline recently launched the sale of business class tickets to London with roundtrip fares starting at $1,007. The fares will be applicable for travel in April, May and June 2015.

The airline said that the roundtrip flights for travel in economy class from New York to London on other airlines will cost nearly $900 to $1,200. This though depends on the carrier and the travel dates.

The airline said that it is committed to offer its customers a luxurious travel in business class at the cost of economy class tickets. Above all, the customers will also experience great flying experience with various facilities including lie-flat seats in a 2-2 configuration, lounge access and preloaded Samsung Galaxy Pro tablets for in-flight entertainment.

La Compagne recently announced that it will be launching its new flights between London’s Luton Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport starting from April 2015. The business class flights on the route will be operated with the help of a Boeing 757-200 aircraft. However, all the flights departing for London will be red-eye flights, taking off at 10.20 pm.

La Compagnie launched its flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Newark Liberty during summer last year and has since been operating it quite successfully. The airline is offering cheap business class tickets than what is being traditionally offered by other airlines.

British Airways is also operating its wholly-owned all-business class airline named Club World London City, which currently offers services only between New York’s John f. Kennedy International Airport and London City. The facilities being offered by the airline include lie-flat seats, Wi-Fi and power ports.
