La Compagnie to introduce all business class service to New York

La Compagnie, an airline of France, will launch all-business-class flights between New York to Paris. The service will commence from this July with four to five flights every week.

The premium flight will fly from Newark Airport to Charles De Gaulle Airport. The flights will operate using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft. This airplane will have 74 fully flat seats in 2-2 seating configuration with a single aisle. In December, one more Boeing aircraft is anticipated to be a part of the fleet.

The service on this exclusive business class flight promises to be extraordinary. Passengers can enjoy in-flight services that include amenity kits, free Wi-Fi, Samsung tablets preloaded with in-flight entertainment, and delicious food prepared by the chef Christophe Langree. There will be two pilots and three appealingly dressed flight attendants. The uniform of the crew is designed by Vicomte A, the famous French fashion brand. In addition, the crew members are well versed in international languages and are sanctioned by the French Civil Aviation Authority. Airfares on this route have been reasonably priced and will range between $ 1600 and $4600.  

La Compagnie was created by Frantz Yvelin and former Jet Airways COO Peter Luethi. According to Luethi, the model of La Compagnie is a mix of comfort and cost suitable for business class travelers. The airline industry is upgrading its business class as well as increasing its price too. This airline is designed for traveler s in need of more privacy in smaller aircraft and with airfare under their budget. The scenario was quite different eight years ago. At that time the only model that succeeded in all business aircraft was L’ Avion. The market at that time was quite different from the current market.

The flight on Paris – New York route departs from Paris at 05:50 p.m. and arrives in New York at 08:30 p.m. The return flight will leave New York at 09:45 p.m.
