LAN to deploy Dreamliner on Santiago-Miami route in August 2014

LAN Airlines announced its decision to launch Dreamliner service to Miami. The flagship carrier of Chile is set to launch once-a- week service of the state-of-the-art aircraft to the Florida city in August. As per the reports, the service would indeed commence on August 9, 2014.

Passengers who wish to fly on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner between Santiago and Miami can now book airline tickets with the carrier. It operates out of its hubs in Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, Jorge Chávez International Airport, and Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport. Besides, being the largest airline in Chile, it also flies as the second largest airline in Argentina, Colombia, and Ecuador. At present, it flies to about 66 destinations worldwide. Like its peers and competitors, the airline is aiming high and is looking forward to expanding its network across the Americas. In December 2013, the airline launched a new service between Bogota and Aruba.

Boeing Dreamliner is one of the most fuel-efficient aircrafts operating service at present. Passengers across the globe are keen to travel on the plane. By announcing its service to the beach destination of Miami, the airline will attract more customers. The flight from Santiago will stop over at Cancun before proceeding towards its destination city Miami.
