Lufthansa launches its first A380 aircraft to Miami

The German flagship carrier, Lufthansa announced the launch of its first Airbus A380 carrier to Miami. As per Lufthansa it will operate its A380 aircraft daily from 10th June 2011 over the Miami-Frankfurt route.

The new air flights will depart from Miami at 04.10pm and will arrive in Frankfurt at 07.15am the following day. The round trip flight will depart from Frankfurt at 09.55am and will arrive in Miami at 01.50pm.

The international airline also announced the chargeable fare that starts from USD 641 for flights operating between Miami and Frankfurt. Passengers can buy airline tickets and enjoy their travel over the brand new fuel efficient A380 aircraft.

The airline’s A380 aircraft will be equipped with 526 seats with its upper deck exclusively reserved for the First Class and business class. The aircraft will offer 98 business class seats, which will have improved functionality, storage capacity and a multipurpose power supply, offering worldwide connections. The main deck will be configured with 420 impressive and spacious coach class seats. The seats will feature an in-seat video screen, an optimized ergonomic design and a slimmer seat back that will give extra personal space to each passenger.

The airline said that it has already been operating its A380 carrier to several destinations such as Johannesburg and New York and also to San Francisco from 10th May 2011. The airline has also placed an order of 15, A380 aircrafts that are scheduled to be delivered by 2015. With this the German national carrier will become the largest carrier to operate A380 aircrafts in Europe.
